More than likely, the fluid in blister is sweat, your own bodily water? I guess... but the area around it will be contaminated with the fluid. Hopefully its your own natural fluid and not a bubble filled with germs. Just best NOT to pop at any stage of healing.

Can you inject a needle into it and drain the fluid carefully if its bothering you?

Think of it in terms of this... Have you ever had a blister on your foot caused by a shoe rubbing wrong? Or maybe from a grease spatter? What happened when you popped it? Did it burn for one, then the skin that blistered off become soft and wrinkly, then gradually start tearing away from the blister? Then scab up really bad? Imagine that ink, being stretched from the blister, then you popping it, it becoming wrinkled and scabbing up? Its going to cause a flaw in the art. So, really is best to let it do what it needs to on it's own. if its a major concern, go to the doc, or maybe back to tatt shop. they may have a better solution to help. ;)

Yes but be careful not to drip any of it onto your tattoo

WTH?! If you get a blister that is big enough for you to inject a needle and excrete whats inside, your butt needs to get to a doctor asap!! If you had an infection, would you create your own mold to make penicillin to cure the infection? Then why would you take care of your issues yourself? Common sense people! Dont pop blisters, dont excrete with needles, and if you get a blisters that are fluid filled, you need to have it looked at by a medical professional. You aren't taking care of the tattoo properly and/or there was cross contamination during the process. You could also be allergic to the ink. Seek medical advice.

Very well said! I had an eyebrow raised reading about using a needle to withdraw the fluid. Very nicely said 2fargone
