IF your tattoo is healed, use an astringent. Clean it and allow to air dry for a few minutes. Use some lubriderm fragrance free, aquaphore, or Eucerin cream and put a light layer over it. It may take a few days. But it is just your skin shedding and re reacting to the ink. Happens in the heat, especially, and will be like a heat rash on your inked skin. it can also happen in the extreme cole. Mine usually happens in the summer when my skin is exposed to the sun. Another way to PREVENT it, is to screen up in the sun. Use a SPF lotion with at least 30 on tatts. That will stop it from happening then. Always make sure to keep your tatts clean, especially during healing! Hope this helps!! ;)

Hey this is pretty good. Astringent is good. Just expect a little burn Way better than alcohol which dries the tat out, and hydrogen peroxide that pulls the ink. Astringent is absolutely the best thing I can think of! Great idea!!

I had bumps too and what worked best for me is to take a bowl of ice water and put a towel in there and drape it over my work. I would do this for about 15-25 min a day and it would reduce the bumps.
