Sam Talbot is Charlotte-based chef who was born on December 27, 1977. He was appeared on second season of ‘Bravo’s Top Chef’ and gained popularity from same show. He reached at semi-final stage but was lost there unfortunately. He eventually ended the show at third. He has three tattoos on his body. On the inner right arm by his elbow he has a design with three circles with stars inside of them with text that says "eterno amore uniti per sempre" which means eternal love together forever.On that same arm on his inner bicep he has what appears to be a feather. Also on his left shoulder looks like an asian themed tattoo but it is hard to determine exactly what it is.

He then returned again for episode “Four Starr All Stars” where he joined stage with Marcel Vigneron, Ian Hall and Elia Aboumrad. He studied from Johnson & Wales University in South Carolina. He has honor of working with Charleston’s head James Burner who is famous all over the world for his delicious foods. It was during this time when he met Sarah Vida who later became his business partner when he started working in Williamsburgh Café in New York City. In New York City, he worked at many other restaurants as well as executive chef. The restaurants where he worked include Black Duck and Punch.

Now, he works in his own restaurant named Surf Lodge. He engaged to Colombian model and designer Paola Guerrero in 2008. The two wed at City Hall in New York City the same year on November 17, 2008.
