Eddie Vedder was born as Edward Louis Severson III on December 23, 1964 in United States. The singer-songwriter is the lead vocalist of rock band Pearl Jam. Prior joining the band, he used to sing in Southern California, but then he left the California and moved to Seattle, Washington so that he could join the new band, and it was this band which blessed him with fame amid grunge movement during early 90s. He has two tattoos on his right calf. The first tattoo is a cross tomahawk while the second one is a wrench. This tattoo is the logo of Earth First, a radical environmental group.

Besides singing for his own band, he also works with other singers as well and writes songs for them. In the year 2007, he released his own solo album under title ‘Into the Wild’. Just recently, on May 31, 2011, he has released his second album with title ‘Ukulele Songs’. He married his longtime girlfriend Beth Leibling on June 3, 994, but the marriage was broken after six years because of him as he could not give her proper time due to his music related responsibilities. The divorce was settled in September 2000. Once, during an interview, he had said that he was a difficult person to deal with and he knew that but he was unable to change him.

His second marriage came with model Jill McCormick on September 18, 2010. The couple has two daughters named Olivia and Moon. They were engaged at the Kennedy Center Honors gala in December 2009.
