Richard James Watters is a former American football player who played for the following teams of San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles. He was born on April 7, 1969 in Pennsylvania. He played as running back but he has also been played as a wide receiver as well. In 1988, he was included in that team of University of Notre Dame which played national championship and in that team he played as a wide receiver.

Many still believes that he was a good as a receiver because his outstanding receiving skill was famous all around. His unique high-step running style was another reason of his popularity and it was this style which earned him the title of Ricky Running Watters from ESPN’s Chris Berman. He thinks of himself a very fortunate player who got a chance to win the Super Bowl as well. He was a part of that team of San Francisco 49ers which won Super Bowl, and his services were worth remembering in that tournament.

It is said that he has just one tattoo on his body and he does not like to engrave more and more tattoos on his body. He has a word THOROBRED tattooed on his right arm which is actually a miss-spelling of the word thoroughbred.

Besides being a very good player, he is also a very good author, singer and music producer as well. He has written a book with title For Who For What, a Warrior’s Journey.
