The singer and television personality, B-Real, was born on June 2, 1970, as Louis Freese to a Cuban mother and Mexican father. He moved to South Gate with his sister and mother when he was a little child. He is best known as the lead singer of the hip hop group Cypress Hill. The band released its first album in 1991, and it was a self-titled album. In the South Gate, he studied at Bell High School where he met Sen Dog and Mellow Man Ace who later became Cypress Hill members in future.

In the later years of the band, one of the members named Mellow Man Ace left the band and started his own solo career, while another one Sen Dog joined a criminal gang known as ‘Neighborhood Family’, and it was this friend who introduced B-Real with the bosses of the gang who later graciously allowed him to be a part of the gang. After joining this gang, B-Real, started dealing in drugs, but this profession ended in 1988 when he received a gunshot on his lungs via a 9mm pistol.

While, he has been a member of a notorious drug gang, it was almost impossible for a young B-Real to not show interest in the tattoo work. Earlier, it was thought that to engrave tattoos on the body was just the fun of the notorious, bad people, but now it has been becoming a part of our daily life for past few years, and has got the status of status symbol. He has many tattoos on his body, especially on his both arms which are full in tattoos and there is no space left for any new tattoos.
