Nearly covered basketball star JR Smith has so many tattoos it will make your head spin.

1. JR proves he’s “married to the game” when he got this finger tattoo. The est. ’04 represents the year he got drafted 18th overall to the New Orleans Hornets

2. J.R. Smith has a tattoo under his chin representing his nickname, “SWISH“.

3. J.R. Smith has “transformer” tattoos on both sides of his neck representing the Autobot and Decepticon . Under the Autobot reads “Live Now” & under the Decepticon reads “Die Later”

4. J.R. has a portrait of his mother on his chest accompanied by the words “Mama’s Boy“, tributing his love for his mom.

5. J.R. Smith’s back is filled with original cartoon characters titled “Just Klownin“. We can assume that the one in the middle rockin’ the #1 jersey is J.R. himself, but the rest of the characters seem to be people currently in his life or people he wants to someday be in his life

6. J.R. added a “Young Money“tattoo in 2009. For those of you wondering, it’s rumored that he is part of young money athletes. Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans is also rumored to be a part of it

7. Smith has an outline of the state of New Jersey titled “King of New Jersey“, referring to himself. Inside the outline is a basketball titled J.R. representing the part of New Jersey that he’s from

8. The tattoo on his upper left arm is an image of himself as a basketball player dunking through fire, hence the words “Through the Fire”

9. Smith has a portrait of money surrounded by the words “In Love With My Money”

10. “Death Before Dishonor” on his left leg

11. J.R. has two hands held together praying with rosary beads. It states “In Loving Memory of Betty Smith” for his grandmother Betty Smith.

12. The letters on his knuckles are “DEMI” for his daughter, Demi.

13. JR recently (late 2011) payed homage to Michael Jordan with a retired Jordan Jersey, Jordan 2′s and the Jumpman logo featured in the middle of his stomach.

14. He also has his hometown hockey team’s logo, the New Jersey Devils.

15. On the right part of his lower stomach, Smith has two portraits of children. This hasn’t been confirmed but J.R. Smith does have two small children. LA Clipper Chris Paul happens to be the godfather
