Connection

Connection

Postby McKnight » Sun Aug 12, 2018 10:57 am

Mine was when I got a memorial tattoo of my father and the guy who did the tattoo lost his father too. We exchanged family stories back and forth for about 3 hours and never once stopped for a break. We had such similar stories growing up you would think that we grew together. After we finished and I looked at it in the mirror I started to well up and when I looked at him he was welling up too so we had to have a bro hug. Best tattoo I ever got and the coolest dude to do it.

Hard not to bond with your artist because they are giving something to you that lasts forever and if you are getting something with sentimental value for both of you then you can become buds for life.

Nothing wrong with a little man hug action after you experience something like that. Your pop is staring down from above smiling at you.

I liked my first tattoo so much that I have gone back to the same guy for all of my tatts and I have 14.He is more like a friend and less like the guy who gives me tattoos. I think because we are so cool he tries harder when he is doing my work.

Its really good to share a common bond with whoever is doing your work. Its not like they wont try if you dont but if you do they feel like they have to do a better job because they know how much it means to you.

I didnt even know the guy who did my first tattoo I just saw some examples of his work and decided he was the one. After he did my work on my back we were bonded in a way because he kept telling me how proud of it he was because he poured his heart and soul into. Needless to say we have been cool ever since then.

This was a great share. Its cool when you bond with your artist vs. They just inking you up and give them your money. Me and my artist before I moved out of state were close. He did all my work. But when I moved, I had to find someone else. I found a guy who is cool to be with, makes me feel comfortable, and has a lot of common background. Its always good to bond...
