Artist touch

Postby Natures » Sun Oct 21, 2018 11:03 am

I thought my friend was really good at drawing so I had him draw something up for me and take it into a shop so I could get it put on my back. I found out when I got there that my friend made a bunch of minor flaws like not make things symetrical and things that the artist picked up on. He spent an hour redrawing it to his taste and it came out better than it could have ever been. I was so happy that I let this guy do all of my tattoos now because he bailed me out the first time.

Thats because your buddy just does art for fun but the guy who does your work is a pro and he takes it a lot more seriously

Just because you are good with a pencil or pen doesnt mean you will be good with a needle!

Dont make the mistake of letting the kid at school that can write your name cool for your binder do your tattoo. He will never know what he is doing and your work will come out looking like that too

What would be really smart is to take your picture down about a week before your appointment and explain where you want it on your body and let him make all the detailed changes to make the best work they can possibly do and you'll be glad you did.

This is so true... real artist take pride in all things they do. My tattoo guy wont let me just come in same day, he needs time to draw it, get my ok, then we make appt. He also doesn't like to do someone elses drawing. He doesn't do the same thing over either. I like when they real bought their work!!
