When I was 16 I got a flower tattoo on my back and I had to hide it from my mom. I didnt take care of it because I was more worried about hiding it. It scabbed up pretty good and it got infected. It felt like someone burned me and even when I would get in the shower it would hurt so bad just to have the water touch it. I ended up having to show my mom so she could take me to the doctor to get it checked out and get medicine. I was grounded for like a month for my tattoo and it still looks like crap today because I didnt take care of it.

I remember hiding my first tattoo from my parents. Rushing to put on a tshirt so they couldnt see my arm. When they finally saw it I was already 18 so I just lied and said I got it recently when I was 16 when I got it. Never got infected like your flower though. What can you do if it gets infected like pour peroxide on it?

Ive seen infections so bad that they thought about possible amputation....spooky. You must must must take care of your skin after a tattoo or you will suffer dearly

Its gross when all you can see is a big scab and none of the ink. All you have to see is one and you will never neglect it because its a nasty sight.

If you get an infection do you have to get your tattoo redone?

Most likely yes because you didnt have time for it to heal so the colors lifted into your scab
