I got a tattoo on my right shoulder of my family crest but it looks blotchy. Its not old enough to be faded because I just got it about a year ago and some parts are really bright and others or dull and you can see my skin coming through the color. Is this fixable or is there something wrong with my skin?

probably just bad technique from not getting the ink in far enough but if you bring 50-100 bux to any shop they will go over the outlines for you to make it look better

Could have happened because you didnt let your scab heal right and picked some off which will pull out your color with the scab.

If pieces are missing then its because you didnt heal it properly if it is just faded its from being in the sun too much. If you want to get a tattoo you need to make sure you follow instructions or you can destroy it.

Shouldn't you be able to get free touch ups from the same artist?

No, an artist is not responsible for natural ware of a tattoo. Although you may get a better deal you would still have to pay.

Remember that if you have really bad scabbing its because you are not keeping it moist enough with your lotion. You should scab but it shouldnt get all dry and cracked and looking like a scab from when you scraped your knee or something. Keeping it moist will hold your color.

If you get a pimple while right over the color when it is healing should you pop the pimple or leave it alone?
