I actually never thought of how plastic wrap is used so much why doesnt a company make something that would work better because it was designed for tattoos

Seriously, of your ink is healing and you want to put a bag on it, you might as well swim without. Your ink is gonna get wet from the sweat and infected depending on how long. Bacteria feeds on open wounds, dark, wet, moist areas. Covered tatt is a breading ground for bacteria. Just skip the pool. You wont die. Or, plan your tatts round winter and fall so they will be ready by spring and summer.

Don't bag your tatt!! Really?! Even the artist tells you to not keep it covered for more than 2 hours after tattooing. The poster above said it correctly. It needs to breathe. Covering it, bagging it, causes it to suffocate and open a breeding ground for infection. Just skip swimming, period.

Never bag your tatt! Just keep the plastic on for a few hours then wash and moisturize. Nothing more! If you can't stay out the pool, don't get tattooed!!

I wanted my tattoo for so long that if he told me I couldnt swim for a year I would have listened.You are really dumb if swimming is something you cant live without
