NO NEOSPORIN

Neosporin is not use mainly because of its healing properties. When you are in the process of aftercare for a tattoo you want to avoid using any lubricant that has healing properties. You do not want the area to heal too fast. Actually, the healing process is slowed by keeping it moist. If you speed the healing process you are helping your body push the new substance that is not suppose to be there out (stated briefly to avoid a long explanation of the healing process). You want the scabs to develop slowly and to not harden.

So many people cannot understand why you arent supposed to use this and they will go against the advice of the professional and do it anyway. Not smart

No! No healing medication you only need to worry about keeping it moist and clean.Let it heal on its own.

Is there anything that you can do to speed up the healing process like antibiotics or immune boosters?

Drink plenty of water, keep tatt hydrated with fragrance free lotion, stay out of sunlight, don't scratch, peel or pick. No way of speeding up persay, but you don't want that either. Let it take its course. Drinking lots of water is good tho, for healing and the outcome.
