I want to get a barcode on my back with my birthday and my ssn for the numbers under it but people keep telling me that barcode tattoos never come out right because the lines are never perfectly straight or the same size and it turns out bad. Anybody know if its possible to get a good one and how?

I have heard bad things about those too because its too many lines that have to be perfect and you are bound to mess up on at least one. I have never seen one that I thought looked just like a barcode and just because so many people have that tattoo it turns me off to it.

When it is fresh you cannot tell how many imperfections in the lines there are but after 3-4 weeks you will see many variations in the thickness and straightness of your barcode. Many people have been pleased leaving the shop but left unhappy once it heals.

yeah man you gotta come up with something more creative than this

They only barcode tat I ever liked was on the inside of someones lip and it still wasnt even that cool so I wouldnt get these anymore.

Barcodes are hard to do, rarely work, and you really don't want ur ssn all exposed like that. There are a lot of other things you can do. But if you were to do a barcode, look for someone who can and has done some before. My artist used a ruler to draw lines. Hard because of gun, but doable.
