Color because the options are endless and they make the tattoo pop off your skin.

Depends on the piece. I like my portraits black and grey. I have some stars on my chest and I like how they are black with some grey shading in the back. But I like my color in the roses and tribal band I have. So I think it just depends on the piece your getting.

I like it when the tattoo is mostly black ink and there is one color that pops out in it. Kinda like those pictures with the kids in black and white and the flower is the only thing in color.Just looks clean

I think its up to you. My bf has a client who has a black, red and white theme going on. She is fully sleeved and now working on thigh pieces, but all her tattoos has to be meshed with black red and white. So, it depends on what your theme is going to be, if you have one at all. Kat von d stayed with all black and grey ink, which is gorgeous. But I have also seen people with full sleeves full of vibrant colors! Just depends. I like it all.

I'm a big fan of color: Greens and reds pop and look so cool when they are sick art.

I think color looks best for flowers, and certain pieces. Portraits should never be anything other than black, grey and white...

I think dark (non color) will look better in 20 years.
