Print out some things that catch your fancy. Decide where and how big. Then have the artist piece together a creation compiled by your ideas. Amazing what a true artist will do.

Dont feel pressured to decide on the spot either. If you dont like the art they have provided make sure you give them details about it and ask for more than one to choose from but throw them a few bucks so they dont feel like they are doing extra work for nothing.

I always tell people to go to spencers, look at the temporary tattoos, find one or a few they like and sport it in a spot or two until it sings to them. They can be purchased for like 10-20 bucks, place in the area your thinking, then rock it a few days. If you like it, get it. If not, then you can scrub off and try another place. I'd rather spend 20 bucks on some fake tatts to get an idea, rather than thousands to have it removed or covered. There are several sites too that will allow your to upload your idea, then have a temporary sent to you to place where you like to see how you like it. So many options. So many ideas. Google is perfect for tattoo shopping and idea.

Just have fun and dont take it so seriously. You can spend time coming up with an idea but once you do dont dwell on every single detail
