Being surrounded

Being surrounded

Postby DanGer » Sun Aug 05, 2018 11:45 am

When the family or friends that come to the shop to watch the tattoo being done decide its okay to surround me and want to put their face right behind me and breathe down my neck. I am only in a tiny walled off space which is snug for 2 peeps. If I get bumped or distracted its me who is to blame because I didnt protect my client like I should. I will give you one nice warning then ill tell you to sit the hell down and wait until im finished or you can wait outside.

That would bother me if I was getting a tattoo too so I would never let my friends or family potentially mess up my work. Sh*t is permanent yo!

I wouldnt want any of my friends or family there because I dont want them to see me crying and being a wuss over while getting it done.

It should be like when someone is giving birth and only one family member in the room at a time:)

Just put up a red velvet rope and say this is a vip area only so you dont get distracted or bumped

People watching is the BEST part. That means potentially more $$$. When you have people watching their friends or family that is when they think is the best time to get one too so double or triple the money is worth being surrounded

I'm guilty! Ive gone with the hubby, sister, brother, and daughter and i won't be all down their neck, but I do look every now and again! I usually like to see if they are any good cause im always looking for many different ideas to get tatted and all artist have a different flare.
