Stevie Ray Vaughan was the lead vocalist for band named Double Trouble. He was a famous singer who sang hit songs. He was born on October 3, 1954 and died on August 27, 1990. He was the younger brother of Jimmie Vaughan. He was born and raised in Dallas but when he was 17 years old; he left his home and moved to Austin to start his music career. He had just one tattoo in the middle of his hest that was a peacock. It was a beautiful peacock that suited him well, but after just one tattoo he swore that he would never get any other tattoo on future because it was a very painful process and he did not like it at all. He was just 19 years old when he had engraved that tattoo.
During his youth, he got trapped by alcohol and drug. Then, in 1986, he came back on track and started his career one again with a fresh album named ‘In Step. Which featured hit single ‘Crossfire’. It happened on August 26, 1990 when he was going back after attending a concert with Eric Clapton and Robert Cray that his helicopter crashed into a nearby ski slope. The news of his death appeared hours later. There was an audience of 25,000 in the concert.
He won various awards during his music career including Grammy. He was nominated for a total of 12 Grammy’s out of which he won six. He also won five W.C. Handy Awards as well.
