Dmitri Dell Young was born on October 11, 1973 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He is known as the former first baseman of the Major League Baseball. The 6 ft 2 in player was announced as the Vice President of the Oakland County Cruises minor league baseball team, but he announced his retirement the same day. Besides giving the authority of vice presidency, he was also made the Senior Advisor of Baseball Operations. No one knows what the reasons behind this were. As a student, he attended the Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, California where he batted .425 with 8 doubles, 11 home runs, 31 RBS and 37 runs.

He was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1991 draft, but was sacked from the team after he punched a fan who was heckling him. At that time, he was a member of the Texas League. The next year was the best year of his career when he was chosen as a Triple-A All-Star of the Louisville. When he reached in the Major League Baseball in 1997, he spent his first season with the same Cardinals where he hit .258. He could spend just one season with this team, and was traded to Cincinnati Reds against Jeff Brantley.

The player has many tattoos on his left shoulder including an ace of spade and city skyline. Just below these tattoos, he has some others as well which are difficult to read. He has located a big skull just under the city sky line. There is also a circle around the skull.
