Matt Kemp's Inspirational Tattoo Tribute to His Grandparents

Los Angeles Dodgers star, Matt Kemp, recently tattooed a large portrait of his grandmother and grandfather over his heart.

Back in 2011, Kemp’s grandmother, Dorris Mukes, reported that she wanted her grandson to stop getting tattoos.

"I tell him, 'You've got this beautiful body, and you mar it all up,'" Doris Mukes told Sports Illustrated in 2011.

We don’t think Doris can get mad about this tattoo.

Kemp tweeted a photo of his tattoo with the caption, "if it wasn't for my grandparents I wouldn't b where I'm at 2day!"

Kemp has said following the strong example of his family has helped his baseball career, according to USAToday.com.
